Artinis 2009
The UAB Center for Palliative Care is hosting its first annual Artinis on Thursday, September 10th at Bare Hands Gallery, 109 Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd. South.
From 6 to 9 p.m., you can enjoy complimentary beverages, an array of hors d’oeuvres, and live music from DJ Brett Levine. You will also have a chance to take home a selection of art from local artists, as well as a fully stocked martini bar. Attire is dressy casual.
Tickets are $35 per person or $60 per couple. Each individual ticket includes three complimentary beverages and couples tickets receive five complimentary beverages. Corporate sponsorships start at $500. Call 205.975.0848 to order tickets.
All proceeds will benefit The Art Therapy Partnership of the UAB Center for Palliative Care, an innovative collaboration with VSA arts of Alabama. Event funds will support art therapy staffing, provide art supplies for projects, and support the Legacy Art Station – a family-friendly art space located on the UAB Palliative and Comfort Care Unit.
